 Attorney Tim Brewer started his legal career in Eugene,
Oregon in 1985 as a litigator and insurance defense attorney. For over ten years, adoption law has been a major
emphasis in his practice. He has provided caring and knowledgeable legal representation and guidance to adopting parents
and birth parents in a wide array of adoption settings. He also advises and serves as general legal counsel to a
number of adoption agencies, including Holt International Children's Services, PLAN Loving Adoptions Now, and
Associated Services for Intercountry Adoption. He is licensed in Oregon, Washington, and California and admitted
to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He currently serves on
the Oregon State Bar Standing Committee on Adoption and has actively participated in a government and private agency workgroup to
revise adoption agency licensing rules in Oregon. Tim is a member of several state, local, and national bar associations
and organizations, including the American Academy of Adoption
Attorneys, an invitation-only organization of attorneys throughout the U.S. and Canada who have distinguished themselves
in the field of adoption and family formation law.
